A COUNTRYSIDE TRULLO HOLIDAY WITH YOUR PERSONAL SWIMMING POOL

A trullo (plural trulli) is the conical shaped cone farm building traditionally linked to Puglia. Trullo Annunziata is a four-domed trullo, reconstructed to the highest modern standards. It is located in the heart of the Puglia countryside, surrounded by olive and almond trees on Puglia Passion's home estate. It has the special advantage of a swimming pool for your personal use.

Although in a quiet, secluded spot, vibrant Ostuni is only about 10 kilometres away, and many other Puglia attractions can be easily visited before coming home to relax. Everything is provided for self catering, including a barbecue. The accommodation is perfect for couples or families with children - it has a double bed and a double sofa bed. Air conditioning and underfloor heating are there if needed. Extensive guest reviews have been completely positive. For full information click here.

BOCCADORO - PUGLIA PASSION'S TOP QUALITY EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL AVAILABLE ONLINE

Puglia Passion's land contains about 300 established olive trees. From these we produce top quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil under the brand name Boccadoro (this is actually the name of the locality, but fortuitously translates as "mouth of gold"). Olives are picked by hand, pressed and processed strictly in accordance with traditional methods, then shipped to the UK for direct sales online delivered hassle-free (500ml bottles, 3 and 5 litre cans) to the customer by post or courier. To find out more about Boccadoro Extra Virgin Olive Oil and make an online purchase for home delivery, CLICK HERE.

It is not unusual for specialist olive oil retailers in the UK to have contacts with small producers in Italy; but Puglia Passion is a retailer as well as a producer. Everything is handled by Ed Roberts or his immediate family, under his personal supervision. He lives on his property in Italy, manages the trees, harvests olives, works with the local cooperative frantoio (olive press), bottles and labels the oil, then ships it to the UK (negotiating the tricky post Brexit regulations). In the UK he becomes a retailer, selling the oil mainly via the Boccadoro website, posting it directly to customers from his base in Chester. This direct involvement throughout is probably unique in this specialist business.

Boccadoro a high quality Extra Virgin Olive oil produced by traditional methods. The olives are harvested by hand, and within hours are "cold-pressed" at the DOP approved frantoio to ensure an olive oil of the highest standard. No pesticides or other chemicals are used in the oil’s production. Acidity levels are consistently low, well below the 0.8% maximum requirement for EVOO, more often than not at 0.2%, and never higher than 0.5%.
